Most of the northern areas of Pakistan have been extensively trekked in years past, but recent political upheavals and natural disasters deter many who are interested in visiting.
There is much debate about whether the Great Himalaya Range ends geologically at Nanga Parbat. So in an effort to promote the joys of trekking in Pakistan (and there are many) we will consider the entire northern mountain region across to the Hindu Kush as part of the GHT network.
